Finding out that a family member or friend has been diagnosed with a life threatening illness can be stressful and cause major anxiety. The anticipatory grief support session will help your child/children understand, process and cope with their unique circumstances in a developmentally appropriate way. The session will take place in person at the home of the child/children. Each visit is one hour. The first 50 minutes are devoted to a developmentally-appropriate grief support activity with the child/children, and the last 10 minutes are offered to the parents/caregiver to address any questions. This service is also available via Zoom.
